What Is GAMFC Cold Brew?

GAMFC stands for Good Ass Mother Fucking Coffee. That is the whole name. It is not an acronym we reverse-engineered later to seem clever, and it is not a placeholder we got attached to. It is what the coffee is called, printed on the can, in a font you can read from across a room.

It is a canned cold brew made by Rebel Lion — the musician Scott Newman, out of San Antonio, Texas — and roasted locally by Pulp Coffee Roasters on Chestnut Street. Twelve fluid ounces. Two ingredients. No sugar, no syrup, no oat milk, no flavour of the month.

What is actually in it

Water and coffee. That is the complete ingredient list, and you can read it on the back of the can without needing a chemistry degree or a magnifying glass.

220 mg of caffeine is a real amount. For reference, a standard 8 oz cup of drip coffee generally lands somewhere around 95 mg, though it varies enormously with bean, grind and brew time. A can of GAMFC is closer to two cups than one. We mention this not as a brag but because you should know what you are opening at four in the afternoon.

Why a musician is selling coffee

Honest answer: because the song came first.

GAMFC is a Rebel Lion track. It exists on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, and it has for a while. The coffee came after the song, not the other way round — nobody sat in a meeting and decided the brand needed a beverage vertical. The joke got far enough that it turned into a product, and then the product had to actually be good, because a bad coffee with a funny name is just a bad coffee.

So it got made properly, with a real roaster, in the city it comes from.

Where it is roasted
